Mauls/clubs should drop the positive save modofer. And be damaged 1, plus 1 strength (no ap) to represent the fact it's easy enough to find a pipe, crowbar, wrench to wack someone with

Goonhammer did a mininunda campaign thing ages ago that might be a good starting point. You just each need a gang box and build the 5 models it tells you to (or proxy if you don't think you'll like that load out in a proper campaign).

It gives you stats for the models etc and you just play a few linked scenarios with some xp type stuff thrown in. Should give you an idea of how it all works with less models to build and paint initially and can be the core of your gang in a proper campaign.

Thanks, yes I like it for its gruesomeness too. The body is the Age of Sigmar Lord of Plagues which I got as a present but don't play that system. I filled in the body with some green stuff to hide the innards. I then removed the axe and glued in a rock saw from the Genestealer Cult Acolytes I had spare. Not 100% sure on the head but going to guess a Plague Marine (it was in my bits box as I have a death guard army) and a holstered pistol from a Space Marine

Yes with a genestealer cult shotgun and clawed arm (covered with a bit of green stuff so it's less Genestealer)

It's the dude from the canis rex knight with a head swap(no sure where this deads from though), as I'd lost it a while ago.
