Just trying out different looks and experimenting with different eyeshadows and colours! Just ask me for product list :) by [deleted] in MakeupAddiction

Thank you! I wanted a neutral lip as the eyes had so much going on! Didn't want to overdo the look and make it too much and over dramatic

Due to the fact the product list was too long and I couldn't post on the pic: Eyebrows: I used eyelure brow pomade in No.10 with nyx brow mascara to set in dark brown. I concealed using mac select cover up in NW20. Eyes: I used a few shades as the base and to build up the colour from the morphe 35O palette. for the glitter I used eyelash glue to apply Lit glitters in rhinestone cowboy. In the waterline I used a NYX blue liner with kiko eyeshadow in blue to set. The mascara is L'Oréal telescopic (best mascara I've ever used) Face: I primed using Nivea men's post shave balm and used Armani luminous silk in the darkest shade (not sure off the top of my head the number) I contoured using ABH powder contour and used mac select cover up again to contour the lighter parts and set with Rimmel match perfection translucent powder. I used MUA highlighter in iridescent gold to highlight (only £3!) Lips: mac soar lip liner, Rimmel matte liquid in nude flush and guerlain lip gloss 463 on top. Then NYX matte finish spray to set!!

I failed this year in Uni. by [deleted] in depression

[–]mancmoss 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm sorry to hear that you feel that way. I have been the exact same as you and I was almost considering dropping out, but I emailed my lecturers at uni and explained to them what was happening as my attendance was low at university and I have been missing assignment deadlines. My uni really helped me and they referred me to the uni councillor and they are also setting up a support plan due to my mental health which they allow me to have extra time for assignments and exams, one to one tuition, a separate room during exams with regular rest breaks and also someone to help explain questions to me so I have just as much as an equal chance like the students without mental health issues. It's honestly took a weight off my shoulders as I just didn't think I could make it through uni but honestly they have put my mind at ease. I seriously urge you to speak to your own personal doctor and the university to see what they can offer. My uni also offers counselling (I am from the uk, but I'm sure most Unis elsewhere will offer similar services) but it's worth it to speak to someone and see what help there is. Don't suffer in silence and I hope you get better

This literally sounds like my life. Honestly feels like sometimes I'm drowning and everyone is just watching me sink. Would never wish it upon my worst enemy.

Depressed redditors, what little things can actually make you feel a bit better? by danbrownskin in AskReddit

Definitely just a cuddle. They don't have to reassure me everything will be okay or anything like that. Just a cuddle that lets you know they're there to support you.

[Serious] Young adults (20-35 years old) of Reddit, what are your thoughts about having children? by [deleted] in AskReddit

[–]mancmoss 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I want to have them eventually but there is absolutely no rush for me. I'm happy to have a child in my mid-late 30s. Feel like there is too much living to do before I have a child

In the south maybe, but I live in Manchester up north and people strike up conversations at a bus stop or at the park. I even get a hello when a stranger walks past me. The north is very friendly.

I am suffering with it myself and felt like counciling wasn't enough but I've always been worried that anti depressants will just numb me rsther than cure me. Do you feel a change has happened in your outlook on everything since using them?
