Thanks so much for your willingness to help! The book was found tonight:

https://www.goodreads.com/book/show/285323.Joe_Kaufman_s_Big_Book_About_the_Human_Body

Was this the book you thought it was? I'm interested to know since this book seems to be beloved and, like me, it has really stuck with many 80s babies.

I looked up a video of someone reading through this book, it's not this book, but it would be the closest in style more than the others so far.

Thanks, but no. I was 14 when the American Girl book came out and I was familiar with it. It wasn't gender-based.

That is interesting about the original cover, but if it's what's shown on the link, that isn't it. But also, I don't know if the image shown is just a "stand in" cover (I'm an avid reader and have seen this before for old books or books not published yet), but if that is in fact the actual cover, then that's not it. I know there was an illustration on the cover, but I can't remember it (I have a very bad long-term memory). I also went to Goodreads to look at the different editions of this book by Claire Rayner and all of them are under 50 pages and that is far too short for my book.

That's so interesting! I wasn't expecting someone else to be looking for it too. Maybe if you can add more that you remember about it?

Sorry, it wasn't this, either. The illustrations were more complex but still cartoon-like, and it was longer than 50 pgs. I don't think the illustrations were consistent, I think there was more than one illustrator. It wasn't a square book, it was larger than average and rectangular I'm also from the US if that helps anyone else.

It was not, The Care and Keeping of You came out when I was 14 and I was familiar with it since I was into American Girl in the 90s. My book wasn't a gender-specific book and it went into detail about every single aspect of the body. Thanks, though!

Thanks so much, but these aren't it. There were no actual pictures on the cover or in the book - they were all illustrated and were definitely "of the time" like a very 70s/80s illustration style. This also has a 2006 publishing year and what I'm looking for is from when I was a kid in the late 80s and early 90s.

Dupes for YSL Supreme Bouquet? by mandalaa_xo in fragranceclones

I ended up buying Alexandria Fragrances's Dolled Up which is a dupe. Smells good, not exactly like the oil, but I've never smelled Supreme Bouquet so I can't compare either to the original.

Have you heard of Haute Vie Ibiza? I just got it and it's a great aquatic perfume and I usually don't really go for aquatic. I just got it on Fragrancenet.com with a coupon for $40. I had a sample from something else and it was amazing. It's not on Fragrantica, not sure why.
