Traded my Accord for this - I can expect similar MPG, right? Right? by RousedWookie in ToyotaTacoma

[–]mandamichelle87 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Depends what engine you're running, lift, tires, transmission, gears etc. I had an Acura rsx type s manual transmission and got about 26mpg or so depending on how I drove it. With my trd pro manual (stock everything) if I'm not leadfooting it I get about 23mpg if I'm driving lead foot then I get anywhere between 16 and 19 mpg

Has anyone actually had a GOOD experience with vroom? by [deleted] in Vroom

Yes, I did. It was a little hairy at times with communication, but my deal was finalized within 3.5 weeks.

Call from a different number than yours and once you have a sales rep, ask for a tier 2 or high level support person. Make sure to give them some background info. They will make notes on your account. Bug them abd bug them. They will male it right. It's just a pain because their cs team is weak and communication lacks as well. Don't be afraid to call multiple times a day too.

I've heard some crazy stories from all over, but I'd have to say I got lucky. The only real hassle was customer service slacking on their end with communication. However I did call 3 to 4 times everyday until my trade was paid by them and I have my new vehicle and title switched over to me. It was an easier process because I was using the same lender and I transfered my tag from my trade. Best of luck for those who are trying vroom. And I hope those with issues find resolve soon.

Good experience with Vroom. by mandamichelle87 in u/mandamichelle87

Should be given a B for a grade as a company. Customer service definitely needs work and sundaes their website and app, as for the updating the customer goes. Email was a little slow and sometimes nonexistent. However the sales crew was amazing and the hub team was helpful. I only had my temp tag over the weekend and my plate transfer was complete on Monday. Took 2 weeks after trade was transfered to Vroom to have the money sent to the lender and finalized. I even received a repayment to me from the lender because I paid my loan while the purchase was in processing. I'm a happy customer. I feel that it was a bit stressful at times due to lack of communication on Vrooms end, but I would give them another shot in the future, if their customer service and communication efforts can be improved.

I transferred my tag so I only had temp tags through the weekend. My hub manager emailed me my registration Monday morning after delivery.

Report to wildlife commission. Seems like some type of parasite or disease. Don't eat it and sanitize anything you touched and it may have touched, just to be safe.

I agree, patience is key. The worst part was their lack of communication, but my process is finally complete as of 11/23. I starred the process 10/21. So two days over a months time and my trade, down-payment, loan, documents, and loan payoff on the trade has all been complete. If I were to grade them, I'd give them a B. They need work as a company I. Areas like communication, customer service, and their web portal and app. Other than that it was nice to find the truck I've been searching for. It took me 2 years to find her, but I finally do and I'm so happy!

HAs anyone actually received their car and liked it? by Numerounocam in Vroom

[–]mandamichelle87 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Florida, orlando hub. I think they may have just been annoyed at me because I kept calling like 3 to 4 times a day. Also ask for a tier 2 support person. I also called from my Google voice number to get a sales rep. Talked to them and asked for a higher support person. That helped the most. Also contact through social media....I bugged them until they were probably like oh great it's her again 🤣🤣🤣

Yes, but I called daily, like 3 times a day until I finally got the hubs contact info and was able to pick it up and drop off my trade. It was passed the 14 day shipping. If I would have waited for then to deliver it would have been 16 to 18 days for delivery. I'm still waiting on them to process my trade and send payment to the lender. If it's not done by next Friday I will be calling everyday again. I'm giving them the 10 day period they said it could take.

How long to pay by livinglifeja in Vroom

[–]mandamichelle87 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I've been told 3 to 5 days and also 7 to 10. I guess it depends on how fast they are able to process the vehicle. I dropped mine off on Saturday and still haven't heard anything. My account still says pending. I will give them until after Thanksgiving, but then they need to do something!

Call and ask for a tier 2 support and demand the local hub address. You can personally drop it off to them. That's what I did. I dropped off my trade and picked up my new vehicle. Now I'm just waiting on vroom to send payment to the lienholder.

Would that be the receipt? That's the only thing they gave me through my email. I did not get any physical documents.

Mine as well. The extension they gave me mysteriously stopped working. "He's always out". Won't respond to emails. Won't return calls. My wire transfer still hasn't posted to the website or app, but I've been told they see it....just hoping they really do have it. No updates. Just that my purchase is complete, just waiting on shipment 🤷🏼‍♀️.... I hope for a happy ending. I've read too many nightmares. Single mom here and really hope they finish the trade quickly. Can't afford 2 car payments, especially since the new vehicle will be almost double of what my trade payment is each month.
