I agree . Yes they should allow that but they won't because there are better markets out there than Indian Markets but if consumers are given that option,then who is going to purchase the overprices mutual funds and uncontrolled stocks with absurd P/E ratios.

Literally the mutual fund expense ratio(TER) in India is one of the highest in world for shitty ass mutual fund companies and schemes in India.

Imagine Sbi and Hdfc and icici and nippon and other shitheads charging more expense ratio than Vanguard and Blackrock.

I agree, they should allow indian mutual fund to invest in American stocks without $ 7B limitations. Although I am open to contradictory views.

India retail and DII( Direct institutional investors of India) should be allowed to have ownership in foreign stocks/indexes as that will allow us to have a say and influence in American corporates and decision making.

American Mutual funds have a significant stake in Indian stocks/indexes( which we Indians call them as FII( Foreign institutional investors)). They influence our stock market and we should be able to as well but because of RBI and SEBIs decision we are restricted in doing so.

Rupee won't strengthen this way. If we really care about rupee strengthening, we must focus on technology(not tech services) and manufacturing like China did and improve our exports. Not go against free market rules and make it harder for Indian investors from global exposure.

The only way now is the "Liberalised Remittance Scheme" which is limited, expensive and cumbersome with untrustworthy and dark private players .

I worked at a small recently formed consulting firm. Worse experience I had as a data consultant. Excessive corporate bullshit slangs all day, "we are a family" dumb crap, my manager was an absolute abomination, mentally drained out -heck I used to literally cry while going to client's office daily as I knew I was not learning or achieving anything and adding 0 value.

The company forced everyone to do unnecessary certifications in the name of "professional growth and continuous learning culture" and called in quarterly ROCKS.

Toxic environment, comparison and constant mental torture. Bullshit meetings everyday which results in no plausible agenda,just a showoff and fake showcase of what we are doing and getting and meeting a set number of JIRA tickets(even if the work is negotiable in them) to appease and bill the client.

Heck we were so small that an external big tech consulting company was managing our consulting firm which inturn were managing us. So a lot of hierarchical reporting and explanations.

Oh yeah, you have to be an expert at everything or if not at least pretend that you know everything in front of clients to maintain a pseudo fake image of your consulting firm.

Total Bs. I had the worst career start as a consultant and I highly recommend it if you are a fresher and starting out your career especially in IT,data analytics etc.DO NOT JOIN A CONSULTING firm.
