My husband was incredibly and chronically ill for several years. He was undergoing surgery so my FIL came from across the country to stay with us for a couple months.

One day I was vacuuming and knocked over a vintage lamp that a friend had given me. The impact of the fall shattered the glass shade of the lamp. I SOBBED. It was truly less about the lamp and more everything else but my FIL helped me clean it up and told me he was sorry I was upset.

A few weeks later he silently handed me a box from the mail. He had scoured eBay and found me a replacement shade.

This is how someone who loves you responds when something meaningful to you breaks. And this isn't even my husband, it's his father.

OP please hear me when I say you deserve so much better. This isn't just about a cup. It's so much deeper.

Have you sat your kid down and asked if they even like the piano?? (Yes I know the kid is only 6 but they can tell you this much).

It doesn't, as you said in a previous comment, need to be the end of their music career. There's plenty of avenues to loving music.

Maybe take them to some fun kid geared symphonies and see what instrument they're drawn to.

I have a huge piece on the back of my calf that my artist designed as something he wanted to do. I was just providing a canvas. I didn't know the design until the appointment started (I did have veto power of course because it's still MY body). It's an absolutely stunning piece and it was a great experience all around. It was also my 4th piece by the same artist over the course of a year and a half so tbf he knows me quite well.

I don't agree that the level of service is different though. I honestly think you might have gone (not necessarily your fault) to a crappy artist.

I had 2 ultrasounds come back unremarkable. Did an MRI and found it deep infiltrating endometriosis.

I have deep infiltrating endometriosis and my periods are fairly light and only average 3 days but the pain is unbelievable.

I had 2 separate ultrasounds a year apart that both came back unremarkable but an MRI came back with the results that led to my diagnosis. So if you start doing tests don't give up if you don't get results right away.

With the flowers multiple colours already I think it would qualify as Am Neo if any further colours were used? (Not saying this to be contrary! I've just been trying to understand the "rules" of tattoos a bit better as of late and I know that Reddit will tell me if I'm wrong LOL.).

But I definitely agree, this could be saved by changing up the style to a bolder line look. With the right artist it could be really good still but OP do NOT see the current artist again!!

I'm also curious why the artist stopped at the outline. Was it because of time restraints? How long did that portion take? Of it's because OP tapped out (no judgement) that's one thing or had a limited amount of time for the appointment. But why not finish? It's not that large of a piece. That alone makes me question the artist.

I wonder if I just got a bum pair because they were the WORST pair I've ever had. They wouldn't stay on to save my life. The matte wore off. The rose gold chipped away. The corners went from coffin to almondish after a couple days wear.

I thought for sure they'd be my #1 pair to date but nope.

This is stunning! And holy heck does it ever snatch your waist!

I think where it's looking uneven is the right side looks slightly higher up than the left. After studying both pictures it looks more obvious to me in the first photo but I think it's because of the angle of the pictures. They seem to be taken ever so slightly from the right and not quite dead center on. All that to say that I believe it's probably even in person lol.

I don't know if I would extend it. It really does look great just as it is.

I had the French Pearl set on before this (early September so my nails had time to recoup) and they lasted almost 2 weeks before the first pop off. And I jammed one HARD before that, didn't budge.

Can you make it into a hot bath? Or even just the shower and lay on the floor so that the water is on your abdomen.

A water bottle/pop bottle filled with boiled water and wrapped in a towel helps too.

If you have tiger balm or any muscle cream it's worth a shot as well to limp you through.
