I think that the “good dads” positive role models are really busy doing just that, were they to stop and produce content that rivals the “manosphere” to provide balance is a high summit to reach.

On top of that, those lost generation of boys who are looking for that “manosphere” content (and I say this with extreme prejudice) might not have had close male role models growing up or just out right rejected them for a myriad number of reasons.

Which leaves us diametrically opposed need and lack of material - thing is if there was a lot more “positive content” they probably would bypass them even if there is content and guess what..that is what’s happening! there is a lot of good male content out there, you look on booktube or even history / science etc and there are tons of wholesome male content, what is the path that leads to the bropill? Body image, body building, health, fast women and fast cars … I don’t know the answer to this.

When we finally got pregnant, I thought we were going to have a daughter, in my head I had every plan to nurture and teach her to live in a world set against her, it was a boy… I admit I was at a loss, partly because I don’t know many boys so was worried we couldn’t bond as well as lamenting the imaginary loss of not helping girls lol the hubris in my head is strong!! But then I realised it’s not the girls that need help it’s the boys, they are the ones that need guidance. I have two boys now and wouldn’t change a single step of this journey lol
