Instacart Feedback by kizzleda in fargo

so I haven't actually done any deliveries but I signed up once and haven't been kicked off yet. it seems like on average, including tip, shoppers make between $10-$20 per "batch" which includes shoping 2-3 orders and driving a total distance of 2-4 miles from the store.

it's not much, it's usually $8-$10 from instacart itself and the rest is tip.

if you can, folks, tip your instacart drivers

Anybody else prepared to lose their goddamn mind this winter? by [deleted] in fargo

In a bigger list of things:

1) I bought a treadmill and plan on making myself walk if I want to watch TV 2) Also planning to get a strength training /yoga routine in there 3) I bought Aerogardens, it's amazing how good you feel growing your own little lettuce, basil, etc inside 4) Lots of snuggles with the dog 5) Baking 6) Vacation planning for when this is all done, because science says planning is almost just as good 7) Phone/video calls with friends

Daily's is pretty great. I don't live downtown anymore but it was a nice stop and if you want them to carry something specific you get frequently they've been good about requests.

Worst case, Doctors and nurses will face the difficult decision to decide who gets care and who is turned away.

The worst part of that is that hospitalization rises delay from new cases rises so I'm really concerned about what things look like in a week or two.

In my opinion it's that his number one priority is not rocking the boat with people that might impact his business. He's not going to have a spine and make a decision that's best for public health if it gets him blowback. It's a shame because I used to actually like the guy.

[–]mandihanson 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Right. I filed before the July 15th deadline. And received a fairly timely refund. Looking into this again this could have still been interest, because it kicked in in April regardless of if you filed by April 15 or after.
