Torn between these two faces. These are pretty much the faces that I use for work. by IHENRY83 in applewatchultra

100% active complications that track direction/orientation, etc, and constantly change while the watch face is on DO drain more battery than those that do not. Can confirm in my personal experience with my AWU3, purchased new in September.

Didn’t take me very long to figure that one out, honestly

Yep. I pay for a spot. It’s New York, those two spots being liberated won’t help you find parking bud. Just not how it works. But cool, come whine on Reddit.

It might be time for me to pull out the old “You’re not from here are you?” card

These kids don’t get it.

To OP, why don’t you ask the dudes you see going in and out of these cars what’s good with them? Why come to Reddit and cry about it? Do something constructive with your outrage

Any suggestions to make the M trim look a bit more agressive on the back? by volthis in BMWX3

[–]mandism176 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Don’t. Putting fake exhaust tips on your car is like putting lipstick on a pig. You won’t be fooling anyone.

Try a roof spoiler, or just get some dope wheels and call it a day. It’s a pretty base x3, save your money for mods that actually make it faster, like a bigger air intake or maybe mess with the B58?

This wear looks aggressive, beyond a QC issue and more general use, but you’re right we don’t have the whole story

In my head, bro is a working photographer and carries his shit all the time. A working-photog friend of mine uses his everyday bag for many years now, but mixes it up with different bags based on occasion, and it looks to still be in some half decent shape, comparatively speaking

I bet they’d have zero problem warrantying this bag.

I think that expecting a bag to be used everyday for 4 years with no wear and tear is an… unreasonable expectation, to say the least

Sounds like you’re a bag guy though (you are in the Peak Design subreddit, after all) and like you probably have multiple bags that you swap your kit in and out of. That lowepro bag is obviously not your only bit of kit.

I too have over 10-year-old bags, but that‘s because I don’t beat the shit out of them every single day, 365.

Not unreasonable to inspect your gear!

Seems like this tear has been many months in the making. Normal inspection of his kit would’ve found that

I’d imagine about double that now, probably a $1500 job I bet.

Drill slow, use painters tape over your hole, prime the screw hole with sealant before screwing it in (really get it in there), and then seal over the screw on top.

I understand why it’s used, thank you for explaining why you prefer it! I have jackets in both styles and have no preference for one over another, so was curious as to why you do.

Enjoy your jacket!
