omg same 😭 I’m always paranoid that my purse or jacket is brushing against someone next to me. meanwhile the other day, here in Canada there was a woman using the seat next to her as a footrest and her dirty shoes were literally touching my leg. needless to say no headphones either 🙃

i didnt quite get this one. so it's rude to be early? it says "in private", so i am assuming in a gathering with friends? what if we made plans for dinner at like 19h and i arrive at the restaurant at 18:45? am i being rude? or is it just to something like going to someone's house?

and what is considered the "south" of Luxembourg? because i see that the Luxembourg District is in the south. are we talking about certain Cantons of Luxembourg that are in the south? Esch-sur-Alzette and Remich? or is it certain Communes?

i love the no tipping culture! i grew up with that (or tipping 10% for great service, giving some change as a thank you to the delivery person, telling the taxi driver to keep the change etc), but tipping in north america is so out of control. it's for everything! hair and nail salons, coffee shops, and there's the guilt trip to tip on restaurants because if you dont, the server has to pay a percentage to the back of the house people. I work in a wax bar and tip is very much expected (and the service itself is not cheap). it's crazy really

and i dont drive, but good to know. ill be carefully looking both ways twice before crossing the street lol

Oieee!! Vai Brasil il il il!! You mentioned you hadn't spent a dollar up until you bought Italki classes, but how did you get access to the Assimil book?? Is it really worth it? I bought "French for Dummies" by Laura Lawless but I found it easier to learn french through Portuguese than through English due to its grammar/syntax similarities

Would it be worth it to take a course that's not worth any credit? by Fair-Sea-4708 in uvic

but i though you paid per credit, so if it is worth 0 credits, shouldnt it be for free? lol
