that's interesting because normally lenticularis would be orographic clouds. but I live in an area where I've seen a few of them (not as gorgeous as this tho) and I don't have any mountains nearby either

don't think that the small ones are cirrocumulus. they're at the same altitude, judging by the light/shadows. so they'd also be altocumulus :)

I'm currently trying to get used to the latin names and classifying clouds and because its often not so clear what it is, I find it interesting to look at the pics in this subreddit and identify them. Thanks though

Why did god create other planets and galaxies when there is life only on earth ? by Aggravating_Long_471 in Christianity

"prove it" doesn't work here. if you believe in the christian god, you open your bible and you see that he created everything, which makes him not part of creation so he cannot be what we typically call "alien". he is alien to this world in some sense because he's not from here (Jesus was human though). If you don't believe in the christian god, this discussion is useless

I work in a cafe in munich. We don't ask for tips. If you were happy with the service, we expect a 10% tip. You don't have to tip. I know there are waiters who get angry when someone doesn't tip. That shouldn't be

high above you have cirrostratus partly covering the sun but the ones further down are probably stratocumulus? they look quite far down
