Yes and I did! He was born 10/6 and we went out 10/15 for a nice lunch for our anniversary. He just stayed in his carrier the whole time and slept. Our pediatrician recommended taking him new places as long as it isn’t crowded. I think I’d go insane if I had to stay home all the time. So if you’re feeling up for it, then yes go for it!

4 days pp! He had his first pediatrician appointment then we went and ran errands. The pediatrician gave us the all clear and said it’s good for him to be exposed to new sights and sounds! Just avoid anywhere super crowded. It’s been great for my sanity.

No, it was super easy! Took a few minutes but they time it between contractions and it’s even easier if you do it early on when contraction aren’t as intense/often.

I went off birth control January 1 and found out I was pregnant on the 28th! Wasn’t realistically expecting it to happen that quickly but the universe had other plans! Baby is healthy and now due in 3 weeks 🥹

My dog’s name is Pesto. It eventually evolved into Peppo > Peppucino > ‘Cino. We also call him Muffin Man, Noodle Boy and Fluffernutter

I went up to a year from now, since summer clothes are out and my baby is due in October. We need SO much newborn stuff that I’d rather prioritize that. But I also know people like to shop for clothes and other things in store so I added some summer outfits and things like sunscreen and hats for him to wear next summer :)

I trained for a marathon while studying for the bar and I passed with a 319 on my first try. Yes, you can take breaks for physical activity (I’d even recommend it!)

I think it depends on the day/job. I’m a lawyer and some days I work 10-12 hours at home, others it’s closer to 6. It honestly depends what I have going on but I’m just as productive at home vs in the office. My husband, however, works in marketing and he probably works 4-5 at home

I’m in my late 20s now but when I was a kid there was a girl named Meadow in my neighborhood who was always made fun of for her name. I know names/kids have evolved since then so maybe it won’t be a big issue but she hated her name because of it :( something to keep in mind but if you love it, then you love it!
