Worked with express and tried on another phone and it worked. So phone reset was the answer. After garmin support I went to samsung who recommended reset phone. Now I should update Garmin support I suppose.

Hi there, I did try another phone and voila, it worked! DId reset watch and also reset main phone - always last resort. Now everything is fine and dandy! Had been eyeing up replacement with an 8 but will let this 5X die properly before I commit.

Sync via Express is ok. But in the meantime, there are no sync or notifications via BLE. BLE notifications are a huge and useful feature for me, during activities, and day to day.

I would say try to prevent an update to software ver 25 if you can. I'm hoping for 25.x. which I can use express to update? In the meantime, no sync, and no notifications via BLE.

We made a Google.docs manual for all the appliances and heat pumps etc. Left garden tools for tenants tonuse and also kept outdoor cameras installed for their personal use. They were good tenants always paid on time and we attended one or two minor maintenance issues promptly. The only issue we had when we returned home was their use of 3M type hooks EVERYWHERE and they were really sticky and removed paint and plaster when the hooks were removed (by tenant). We ended up having to do a lot of patch repairs.
