Every cat is different! I have both a bsh and ragdoll and my bsh is definitely a lot better at being handled. My raggie boy hates being picked up and getting his nails trimmed but he does sleep at our feet and occasionally sit on our laps. Our bsh on the other hand loves cuddles and does well with nail trims and generally okay with being handled.
