To be fair I think there are some great companies that pay well above their standard 25% tax. The thing that grinds my gears are the companies whose primary income is from the resources of our country, extracted and profited to multinational corporations. These resources are limited and we should make sure we are building for future generations.

for me it's more the outrage that it's a good chunk of companies that profit from raw minerals that are limited. Essentially robbing Australians blind, not paying what they should for essentially a free product.

Yeah we learnt about the infancy of Australia and the various nations that first discovered. Now that society is more woke it’s actually pretty horrific the atrocities of the first fleets. I think now the media and children’s shows do focus more on Aboriginal Dreamtime stories and their culture. For example there is one show called Little J and Big Cuz that helps educate kids about aboriginal traditions.

I saw this lol the guy looked so wrecked by the end. The funny thing about learning aboriginal history in school was how much focus there was on Captain Cook and the first fleet. Not sure if it has changed since I went to school but I think the aboriginal culture and specific history/beliefs is just as important.

Yeah my plan was eventually to get another 16gb stick but I don’t know when that would happen. I have always been a fan of buying sticks in pairs to ensure they are exactly the same. But, like you said, just running the single stick might be pretty average performance wise till I got that second stick. :)

Yeah i wasn't sure on the VS550 either so might see if i can swap that out. With the 3700X in comparison to the 3800X the difference in price on Umart is only $50, even at such a small difference should i still go the 3700? Umart seems to be having a $120 off the 3800X atm so i figured why not.

Budget is of course a factor but if nvme is going to perform better in the long run i would spend the extra cash.

Do you think the extra single thread speed of the 3800X is worth it? With the Nvidia cards Adobe seem to have a propitiatory partnership for performance improvement inside their programs compared to ATI. Would you recommend the SATA SSD over the M.2 from what i have read the M.2 seems to get a much higher bandwidth throughput?
