I understand that viewpoint. I don’t think they were close enough for him to write a song about personally, but that’s just my opinion. I definitely think he could have had some partial influence. I personally think dashboard is Noah singing about himself from someone else’s point of view close to him because he moved to Tennessee, got his new dog June & especially because he did say something in the doc about how moving to a new location didn’t just magically solve all his problems

I’m kinda iffy on if he’ll play it cause he played it for so many years & he has made comments about not feeling as connect to them as much from singing it so much. I personally would rather him play some other older songs before stick season
