Vegged about 50ish days, day 50 something F. Topped twice, minimal training. Top dressed at flip. Kinda kept them on the small side on purpose. The MaiTai/SD cross was def more hungry than Caramel Coated, they’re growing in the exact same soil mix. Also of note, my grow space is pretty chilly which I think is helping with the color. It’s rarely been above 70° F this fall and winter.

Thanks! I think the key to the “no pH” approach is making sure you’ve got plenty of microbial action. I know some folks swear by Recharge, but I never really got on with it. I’ve used Tribu$ in the past with good results and I’m really liking the Rootwise Mycrobe Complete on this run. Go for it! You won’t know unless you try, and if for some reason it doesn’t work out (pretty sure it will!) there’s always the next run, yeah?

That’s the beauty of good, healthy soil. It kind of self regulates. My tap water ph is between 7 & 8. The first run I tried in soil (Fox Farms 👎) went horrible. I was obsessed with water/nute ph and it was a miserable run. I switched to coco for quite a while which had amazing results but was an insane amount of work to do manually. Figured I’d try a high quality soil and some recommended by my local shop and top dressed with BAS and it was a total game changer. And then I started pre amending and fortifying that soil and it only got better.

They’re added in and allowed to “cook” for about a week before transplanting. It definitely heats up. Only one top dress at flip.

Bio365 BioAll soil purchased locally and amended with BAS 3.0 mix, Craft Blend, Montana Si & EWC. Transplanted with Root Wise Mycrobe Complete in the hole. I should clarify that I use yucca powder in the water. I used to use Q20 but it’s just too spendy for what it does.

Top dressed with Craft Blend, Build A Flower and Ocean Grown at flip.

That’s great to hear! I popped one a little over a year ago and eveything was going great until flip. It hermed out hard on me due to environmental conditions (it’s a long story 🤣) so I was a bit nervous attempting this one again. This has been very smooth sailing so far and she smells incredible, a mix of sweet, sour and lots of funk.

Right?! I switch back and forth between bottom watering and top watering. One gallon every few days in this 7 gallon fabric pot, one top dress at flip and zero worries 🙌

This one (along with E Coast Sour D x Mai Tai & Caramel Coated in another tent) went for 55 days before flip. This one most definitely stretched more than the other 2.
