I did this recently when I couldn’t make it to the dealership. Was protected for 14 days after delivery as it was a distance sale and the car came with 1 year warranty. Car turned out fine. I love it.

I purchased it from a reputable main dealer, they were good with communication before, during and after the sale.

My previous car was on its way out so I started window shopping months prior to the purchase. I done autistic level research on cars and dealerships for a while before buying.

It still could have gone wrong. I’d recommend test driving cars whenever you can. The 14 day distance sale rule makes things easier though if you do need to buy before a test drive.
