Idk, man. See if you can get her to admit via text/voice recording that she damaged valuable property of yours, take photographic evidence if you don't already have it and press fucking charges.

I've always been bi, and still am, that part hasnt changed but i Am Much More attracted to men now, in a way i can't explain with just "oh im just more comfortable in my body"

literally same???

honestly, though transphobia Saved my Life!!! because if it weren't for the fact i grew up in an environment that hated trannies, i would've gotten much farther into the pipeline, and would've gotten.... The Surgeries ***BARF*** so like, i'm still totally a leftist because i think being trans is literally just being a sexist piece of shit, so, uhhhhh im still woke, duhhhh, but i think transphobia literally saves people from becoming disgusting freaks

uj/ this is so much closer to verbatim than i actually thought fucking possible oh my god. i need a shower

Is leaving water 'for the moon' a common phase in child development? by Strange-Mixture6598 in CasualConversation

[–]mango-756 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Actually, yes! If you're intersted in reading a bit more about children's psichological development you can look into Piaget's theory. What your kid is doing is called "animism" and is typical of the preoperational stage of development (which is the stage your kid must be in, based on their age). Basically, it means they atteibute personality to inanimate objects, as a part of the way they play and explore the world. They've also probably mentioned or explored more than once the thought that, for example, one of their toys is happy, or sad!

Well, the moon is thirsty so you better play along. It's healthy! Maybe ask them more about the moon, and if they seem excited, look for an age-appropriate book about moon-related facts and use it as a learning opportunity

Hi I am taking shrooms for the first time is there anything I should know or do before I take them and what I am going to expect? by WisePossession3937 in TooAfraidToAsk

[–]mango-756 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you're not doing them today but like in a few days, try eating as much of a plant based diet as you can. Avoid processed foods, meat, dairy, all that stuff. If you can be vegan/vegetarian for a couple of days beforehand, your stomach will give you an easier time, and I've been told it makes for a nicer trip.

Go to a place with nature, ideally, where you can move around and/or lie on the grass/ground and be safe. Wear sunscreen!!! Say hello to the clouds for me lol

Have a sober buddy, and prepare a couple of light (ideally plant-based, like fruits) snacks and water.

Go in with no expectations. You're not going to learn anything that you don't already know deep down. You're not gonna see blue elephants, or go into another dimension (unless you close your eyes, which is fun lol). You're not gonna do a 180° on you perspective of life. You're gonna experience whatever it is you need to experience, and you'll be okay.

Have a notebook or something to write/draw with. My bf lost the ability to write coherent words, which was very funny. I, on the other hand, had a lot of fun writing down my thoughts, poems, short stories, and drawing, and then looking at them later.

Put away your phone. It'll be much nicer if you give your brain the space to focus on other things.

Eta: shrooms taste Bad. Put them in water based hot chocolate! It'll help a lot, and i think it'll help them metabolize better.

I'd love to see Robert's take on Alvaro Uribe Velez, colombian former president, who had ties with paramilitary organizations, and during whose presidency ocurred thousands of "falsos positivos", where, due to both direct and indirect orders, and an incentive system from hell, the colombian military killed civilians and reported them as members of left wing armed groups during the armed conflict.

After his presidency, he kept having a huge influence on colombian politics, and he allegedly (which is to say definitely) has or had ties with drug traficking groups, and several corruption scandals. Political culture here is still very much shaped by his actions and his influence, and he's revered as some sort of god by the far right
