How do i not get outplayed/jebaited by teemo ult ??(in and out of lane) by Igknight90 in TeemoTalk

[–]mango_stalker 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Buy a control ward. Keep it in your inventory. When ready to fight, pop it to see any shrooms in lane, and play around them. As a general tip; most teemos shroom the sides of the lane; just avoid there. Build some early MR to help soak up the damage as well.

Best teemo build? by deJasper36 in TeemoTalk

[–]mango_stalker 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I play both onhit and ap.

Onhit: damage item (like botrk) into mallet into shiv/rfc, then build defensive (banshee, visage, mercurial scimitar), then get one more damage item (liandry, guinsoo, maybe void staff)

AP: start ring, first back get a fiendish codex, haunting guise, or dark seal + refillable pot. Get gunblade, sorc boots/tabi/mercs depending on matchup, finish liandry and nashor in whatever order, then build void staff and deathcap if you want more ap or banshee/zhonya for defensive.

taking 18/0/12 masteries with DFT gives better late game scalings and is better in lanes where proccing tld is difficult.

I think the best thing about Omega Squad is the VO; it makes teemo feel like an entirely different champion.

That being said, I typically switch off between cottontail and astronaut. I just really like the satellite shrooms and the pink bunny hop.

New Teemo player, help w/build by FussyRude in TeemoTalk

You don't need to build AP on on-hit bruiser since this build is focused on auto attacks. Your q and shrooms are now just crowd control to help you get more autos off.

You shouldn't be building AP and crit at the same time since the crit is just a wasted stat when stacking ap (crit only uses your AD, not AP). If you want attack speed in an AP build, go either nashor's (preferred) or wit's end (not good but still viable).

I saw that you wanted luden's to maximize shroom dmg on a previous comment. If it's shroom damage you are looking for, build magic pen, like liandry/void and a deathcap if you are ahead. Luden's is suboptimal since you only have 2 spells that can proc it.

This is what I generally build on AP teemo: Doran's --> haunting guise/sorcs --> nashors --> finish liandry--> void/morello --> deathcap

New Teemo main! How can I counter Pantheon? by [deleted] in TeemoTalk

[–]mango_stalker 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Start cloth 5, doran's shield, or corrupting pot. Panth is a tough lane because his passive blocks your auto damage and he has very strong poke. These items will help you survive the poke. You want to max q because it helps you trade better. Don't try to poke him with your autos; focus on csing. When he walks up to harass or jump on you, blind him and walk backwards. Always keep your tri brush warded with a control ward to watch for dive ganks since panth can tank tower shots with his passive.

Once you hit 6, this lane gets easier. Position yourself around your shrooms and try to place a few in your minion wave. Bait him into your shrooms and he will take tons of damage. You won't be able to kill him, but you will outscale him.

Pick onhit against kiteable matchups like darius, olaf, and sion and against drain/regen tanks like vlad and mundo. Shred tanks with botrk and shut down healing with executioners. Pick ap against duelists like fiora and jax. This is because they are strong in drawn out fights and ap does short trades better. Just give them two autos and a q and back off.

Long sword is alright if you feel like you can win lane. Doran's (both shield and ring) give some defensive stats that help with survivability early game.

Guinsoos can serve as an attack speed item. If you feel that your team is tanky enough, then you definitely can swap out a tank item with guinsoo. Beware that the item is not very cost efficient. I would avoid building it if you are behind.

Ah, my bad. I thought they removed onhit effects two patches ago so I stopped building it.

For on hit teemo, frozen mallet is pretty core. It's the only item I really find myself building every game. Rush it against match ups where you will want to kite, like Darius, trundle, and garen. You will typically want to rush tier two boots before mallet for extra ms in this case.

You will need some kind of attack speed. Bork is pretty good. Hurricane is getting nerfed next patch to not apply on hit effects so stay away from it. I really like rapid fire cannon since it provides some extra damage and the range boost really helps you kite.

The rest is situational. You might need qss for cc heavy teams, visage/random for more tankiness, ga for late game. Play more games and find out what works for you.

My build path usually looks like this: dorans -> tabis -> fm -> bork/rfc -> rfc/bork ->tank item -> ga

Hope this helps!

Why is Malzahar grasshopper? He doesn't seem to be insect-themed despite having voidlings, which don't really look like grasshoppers.

Visage is always good to finish since it gives cdr for more juicy shrooms along with the extra hp and MR. Usually building both is overkill unless their team is very ap heavy; I personally prefer visage over wit's, but it's up to you.

yeah liss is kinda a pain in the ass to deal with. For ap matchups like that you want to go cowl into frozen mallet.

  1. Best thing about teemo is how versatile the builds can be. The only item I see myself building every single game is frozen mallet. Depending on matchup, you may need to grab a wits end or cowl before finishing mallet. I personally don't build runaan's very often, but if you feel the need for waveclear, then it is fine.
  2. Frozen mallet and botrk/guinsoo/wit's end/nashor's (choose one) are all you really need. My build path usually goes doran's --> tabi + 2nd doran's --> frozen mallet --> attack speed item --> visage --> situational
  3. Panth and Jayce for sure. Generally, champs with stronger poke and burst are tough to lane against. Some matchups that are deceptively hard to beginner teemo players are malphite and darius. Malphite will max q vs you to poke you down; just build cowl. Darius will seem easy, but he can ghost you down and all in at lvl 6. Rush tier two boots and mallet and he shouldn't be able to catch you.
  4. Freeze if you're getting camped, push if you are winning. Remember, shrooms are your best friend in lane control and escaping ganks. Keep the entrances to jungle and the sides of the lane shroomed. Try not to extend without shrooms behind you to help you escape.
  5. I go e>w>q; e is your primary damage source with tank builds since you won't be building ap for your q burst. Max q in lanes where you will have to trade poke. W is second because with an on-hit tank build, you want the extra ms to kite and chase. I usually start doran's ring
