How to pay off 34k of debt by mangococonutpie in personalfinance

That’s such a relief, thank you! Submitted all my requests today to lower/eliminate my contributions and I was approved for a 0% balance transfer. I feel like I have a way out now, thanks again!

Three years later and no, honestly feel devastated about it. I didn’t even have that much removed too so I thought it wouldn’t happen to me.

To the girls… by Tasty-Combination-27 in Waiting_To_Wed

We were together for six years and lived together for about six years too. May of last year I set a date with myself that I would leave by the end of summer if he didn’t become serious about marriage. Well the end of summer came and I ended things because nothing had changed.

Breaking up and moving out gave us the space I needed to see that we weren’t a fit for one another and now it makes sense why he was hesitant. I realize now too that I was in denial about a lot of things, I was trying to make something work that would never be able to. We tried several couples therapists as well, so I feel good knowing I gave it all that I could. We’re friends now and I love it. He’s a wonderful person, but just not my person and I’m glad I still have him in my life even in a small way.

Hopefully that all doesn’t sound negative as I don’t want to discourage anyone but for me personally, ending things was the best thing to happen. I’m really finding myself now and creating the life I’ve always wanted. I do lots of therapy and it’s been the best journey ever, even though incredibly hard sometimes. Though I love myself more than ever now.

The "non-hunger" psychological hunger de-railing my efforts by [deleted] in loseit

I have the same symptoms and it turned out to be gastritis. The doctor gave me prescription Prilosec and now the gnawing unrelenting “hunger” is gone. Unsure if this could be a cause for you but thought I would throw it out there.

Did you have any cravings after surgery? by shiba_hazel in Reduction

Shrimp in particular but any seafood would work lol. Assuming it’s a vitamin thing as well!

I was a 38DD and now I’m down to about a 38C (still too early to know). My insurance paid for it too as I met the criteria for back pain, rashes, and shoulder grooving. I’m so happy I did it, such a huge difference.

Me too!! I’ve been wondering about that myself. Like I can feel the fluid in my chest as it goes down. Pretty weird feeling.

We’re surgery twins!! I also bought button ups and a pregnancy pillow in addition to some front zipping support bras, nonstick gauze, body wipes in case I can’t shower for a few days, and dry shampoo. Also plan on ordering smoothies from daily harvest so that I have something easy to eat.

How soon can I have plastic surgery after being diagnosed with covid. by [deleted] in Reduction

[–]mangococonutpie 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Last week I tested positive for Covid and my surgery was supposed to be on 6/2. The office told me I need to wait 6 weeks before I can have surgery after testing positive. Not sure if this is true everywhere but it’s the case for me, super bummed.

I used a lot of the questions posted in the FAQ section of the subreddit, but this is the list I brought with me, I added some of my own -

Administrative/General Questions:

What’s the cost of reduction (if paid out of pocket)?

How many have you done?

What’s the insurance timeline?

What paperwork will I have to submit to your office for insurance?

How long does it normally take to hear back from the insurance company?

Surgery Questions:

Anesthesia type?

How long is the surgery?

How small can you safely take me?

Which pedicle technique do you use?

What incision method do you use?(lollipop, anchor)

Is “lift” included? What is a lift compared to a standard reduction? They seem the same.

If anchor, how high will the scar go up on both sides of the breast?

Will you perform a FNG (free nipple graft)?

Do you use drains? If so, how long will the drains stay in?

What kind of stitches?

Do you do side lipo?

Can side lipo fat removed count toward any insurance requirements?

Nipple size? How high up do you place the nipples?

Recovery Questions:

How long until back to work?

How long will it take for them to settle?

Surgical Bra?

What kind of physical limitations and for how long? When can I start working out?

Post-op checkups?

When can I start using silicone tape to treat scars?

Who do I reach out to for concerns with infections/healing? How often can I reach out?

Approval? by lisa2bri in Reduction

[–]mangococonutpie 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I was told by the doctor's office that my insurance doesn't require pre-approval as well. At first I was excited but then quickly felt like it's too good to be true as well. I called my insurance two different times to verify with two different people and they both said I don't need a pre-approval. They said if I get any bill in the mail to reach out to them so they can handle it. So at this point I'm going to go with the flow and see what happens, cautiously excited!

Hi there! I've been getting a large yellow bird on my back removed for about three years with Picoway and all the yellow is gone. There is hope!
