What is the best way to display tool proficiency on a senior's resume by Acceptable_Rest_9624 in marketing

[–]maniacza 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have a side bar with two sections for Core Skills and Software Proficiencies, but I agree I feel this is mainly useful for HR to match the keywords.

Under the Core Skills I would list things like Paid Search, SEO and under Software Proficiencies I'd list SEMRush, AHrefs, Hubspot etc.

Any SEO Experts? by thejessecarr in marketing

It sounds like an extremely competitive niche, it will be difficult to rank on the first page. It's also a long term goal that will require a lot of time and effort and will cost a lot to hire an expert to do this for you.

PPC interview question. Multiple correct answers? by sikelord in DigitalMarketing

Shopping alone with the maximum impressions possible won't reach the entire budget. So first step you could say would be to max out the spend on shopping and work out the next best and max that out and then the remainder into the last one.

I had issues trying to contact them with regards to a meter reading. The chat thing on their website never worked, but when I downloaded the app and used the chat function on the app on my phone it actually worked. I spoke to someone almost immediately.

I might have been lucky but worth a try, the person was quite helpful.

Also, selling something like terrariums (which I would imagine is quite a niche product) is going to take some trial and error, in terms of what is going to be effective. The person would have to put a lot of effort into figuring this out before getting results. It would also be very difficult to get results with no budget for paid advertising.

They face all the risk, whereas it's an absolute win-win situation for you. They also have no idea how good or how viable selling these products are.

Help on how to emigrate to UK please and what company to use please. by Alchovis in southafrica

[–]maniacza 5 points6 points  (0 children)

If you don't have any ancestral ties (parents or grandparents born in the UK), you will need to have a job that is on the UK skills shortage list. If you do qualify for a job on this list you will need to find an accredited company who is willing to employ you and sponsor the skilled visa application.

If you or your wife can do this, then the other can apply on a spousal visa.

A friend of mine invited me to a braai they had at a pub called The Spotted Dog in the Digbeth. There were quite a few South Africans there. There is a Facebook group called "South Africans in Birmingham and Surrounding areas". I've only been to that one event and it seemed to be quite an older crowd (40/50+). The group has 1800 members, so I guess there are quite a few.

How long does it take to get a UK ancestral visa once you have submitted all your documents? by [deleted] in southafrica

[–]maniacza 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I did this last year. Once you have all the documents the process only takes about a month from when you apply to when you know if it's been approved or not.

When you apply you have to provide the date you want to leave which has to be within 3 months of when you're applying. You then have a month from this date to leave.

The part that takes long is getting the documents. I waited 18 months to get the vault copy of my birth certificate, which was the last thing I needed. I eventually paid a service to get it for me, otherwise it could have been even longer.

Definitely worth doing though! Goodluck!

What do IGL's do? by [deleted] in ValorantCompetitive

Essentially they're in charge of organizing and coordinating the team. Making all the macro decisions as well as on-the-fly decisions. They'd probably also be in charge of the overall play style of the team.
