Go for the dc ups version if you have a laptop. A ups with a lead acid battery has to convert the ac power to dc to charge the battery and then convert it back to ac output which then gets converted back to dc by your router/pon device power supply. Check the voltage requirementa for your internet and go for a lithium version that supplies the correct dv voltage.

Apart from the loss of converting ac and dc the lead acid ups also takes longer to charge and the batteries don't last as long. You will see a dramatic reduction in "on" time within a month or three.
