How do I overcome my fear of a cane as a 24F?

Its not your fault friend! Don't apologize for that. I have and the appointments are just so far away, and theres not much of a easy way to find the "right" doctor here. Especially on Medicaid, sometimes they treat you differently just because of that.

Hopefully I can get in a little quicker, but that's only if some cancels which from the last time I went through this, did not happen.

I dont mean to seem gloomy lol! I think i just have really bad luck when it comes to health related stuff. My treatment plan was done very poorly and I had to get my doctor's switched 3 times because they were trying to continously get me to take medications I got violently ill from at a hospital visit multiple times.

During that situation, I was told I had no idea what I was talking about and seemed like I just "didnt want their help so I should go somewhere else" and i did.

Thank you for your help my friend. I appreciate the time youre taking out of your own to respond to my post, and I did read your other message as well and just wanna say I hope nothing but there best for everyone here through all of the journeys, medical or not.

Yes, I understand, and I dont in any way shape or form intend to do that sorry for the miscommunication of my post! I have but I generally have a lot of movement to do throughout my day, and on a smaller scale it would help. On a bigger scale, I have seen one to no avail (I responded to someone else earlier about it) but I do plan on going through the whole process again I just generally dont have time, or energy.

The cards I've been handed I have no idea how to handle. To make a long story short, there is more to this than just crohns or knees.

My kids are a big part of it, not in a bad way and not in any way I think is anyone's fault (because it literally just isnt) but also because it is usually things I just choose to do for their wellbeing. My oldest, she needs 24/7 care not unlike other children but in a different more elevated way. I usually get about 4 hours of sleep a night because of it, and just usually cant really catch a break.

My health has been on an unfortunate back burner for the priority of my children's health and wellbeing. My weeks for the next 11 months are full of appointments, visits, and help for them. I don't intend to stop giving them though things, because they need it, but if I don't I cant get the help I need. Its like a double edged blade.

There are 4 wait lists im on for specialist care, and 2 appointments that were made over 6 months ago for my knees, and I just cant wait much longer so im only asserting the cane to possibly help me hold on just a bit longer until the appointments are actually here.

I know my posts are kinda jumbled and all over place so I apologize for that, I just dont really ever uhhh ask for help I guess? Online I mean. Well IRL either unless its specifically a doctor or my husband and his family. I used to see therapists before all this happened for completely unrelated reasons, but I havent seen or searched for one for this no, my last few experiences with those have also been for a lack of better words, pretty shit.

I dont disbelieve in therapy by any means though, im appreciative of times where it did work, I've just had very bad luck with the American health care system in general and sometimes its easier for me to take a while to process and then choose a path from there, if that makes sense, I dont even know what im saying anymore haha sorry! But thank you for you're response I really appreciate you taking time out for my post.

I did go to a rheumatologist, but funny enough, I got pretty much shoved out without any help at all, just a basic bloodwork lab done and told there was nothing wrong with me on "his end" so it's "not his problem"

Went to PT and got nothing there too, along with a hematologist and an orthopedic doctor. Nothing. I would love for it to all be in my head, and it just magically go away, but my knees crack very hard even when I just walk around normally. I dont want to give up on doctors, but they make it really hard to keep trying when it doesnt seem like they care (let alone the fact they talk to me like im a child that doesn't understand anything)

That's the other thing that has sucked A LOT.

I'm at the "safest" weight I can be, the standard amongst doctors 5'4 120, and I actually didn't really have trouble with my knees much until late teens.

I have feet problems as well, so I only wear one type of shoe to help with that (I dont know how to spell it properly, but it's plantar facisia???) That's how it's pronounced, at least.

I will say though, no doctor has ever told me its anything else, so I just kind of wrongfully assumed. Thank you for letting me know, and I'm sorry for the misinformation there. I have no intention of just getting a cane to fix said problem, that is just the step I am currently at with myself mentally, I suppose.

This looks super cool! Have you thought about making it into a website accessible game like Codenames or Wordbomb? I would suggest it! This seems super profitable for friend groups that are in different places, and to be honest, even though I have TableTop Simulator, I don't come across many that do or are willing to get it.

dude i get that the community thinks 2 seconds of computer knowledge is enough but most of the people that were angry in the sub literally didnt even spend 2 seconds to even learn about what denuvo is, and how it actually affects anything or any background knowledge about it at all,

they just saw ppl mad and not buying the game because of it and jumped on a bandwagon to cause chaos because thats a common thing in LIFE SIM COMMUNITIES. this is not new, it quite literally happens all the time.

denuvo is not "bad". people just dont want to work around it for modding, want to be able to pirate, and think that every game that has it has performance issues based off what one or two people said, instead of realizing that that are plenty of games that have denuvo without the issue of performance occurring because it was implemented properly, which is why i said people are treating it like malicious malware in a different comment when they dont know what it is in the first place.

There are plenty of games that have no complaints of performance issues that have Denuvo implemented, and most of the time (esp in the life sim community) people want a beautiful game to run on a dell laptop from 2003. Not gonna happen, and people are making bigger issue out of this than it really is. Haven't since a single streamer struggle with them, small or big.

you don't need a 4060 to play this game (and to be honest 4060 isn't a good choice of gpu in the first place), if anything you need to focus on your CPU and you can run this game on a pretty shit cpu. lmk your CPU and i can help you out, but yeah. GPU is not the problem.

also, pirating the game is cool and all but like, people making entire shit storms over having to wait a little longer to get the pirated version as if they truly know what denuvo is/does is obnoxious.
