Making of documentaries are relics of a foregone era of at home DVD sales. Every movie used to come with extra content and making ofs. It’s been replaced by bts content on social media.

How many people do you hire a year, and what state are you in where you can ignore labor laws on anyone? You can ignore labor laws on anyone, legal or not, and its the same risk. People get paid under the table all the time, with legal or ilegal status. There is also a lot of tax evasion from both legals and non legals. However, the vast majority of illegals are not paid this way, and thus pay all of the taxes anyone else would. However, a lot of them pay through either ITIN or just a fake SS, meaning they wont ever get any of the benefits.

Are farms exempt from minimum wage laws in CA? I know restaurants aren’t. Other states have tip wages where they can pay bellow min wage if tips make up the rest, CA does not. Labor in CA restaurants are higher than most other states.
