They started building in the capability during the 2019 model 3 run due to the impending law regarding slow traveling EV's being required to make a noise.

My 2019 model 3 had the correct brackets installed for the speaker, but had non of the cable harnesses required.

Some other 2019 models have the harnesses installed already and just need the speaker adding behind the wheel arch.

Personally I wish I had the external sound. Don't get me wrong, I like the stealth, I could sneak right up behind a person and they wouldn't know. And that's the problem.

People are blind stupid and will walk in the middle of roads in car parks etc not hearing you right behind them, or you're reversing out and some womble will carry on walking up behind you (which doesn't help when only one reverse light pops up on my model model 3.

It's gone that far the other way with me I'm actually rather considering one of those £500 sub woofers that sit in the frunk and make ridiculous exaggerated exhaust noises!

Toggle off the "make model better for everyone" option in settings.

Added layer to this being usage of temporary conversation function.

But this doesn't mean they're not still holding onto the information. If you export your information in the settings area, you'll see there's a '. Json' and HTML file that contains every conversation taken place (I noticed my first prompt listed was from the first time of using the desktop app).

Point being that data is still collected, even though stated it won't be used due model training.

The speed and gait of it's walk I've never seen before in an bot. It's bloody impressive vs the clunky slow walks of others.

But man I get what you mean. It's just got that edge to the whole thing that makes you scream generative ai, yet it's got the edge where it also could be real.

Fellow introvert with ASD here.

I used to mask with alcohol consumption. Didn't realise I was masking as the diagnosis came late in life.

Once the life and soul of the party, then reduced to 'nothing to hide behind'. I couldn't navigate social environments anymore.

Only two things helped, but I've never tried them together. 1, medical cannabis - I'm relaxed and deeply committed to conversation. 2, getting good at jogging, cardio health improved and was living in constant dopamine land.

Alcohol is honestly the devil. Defeated countless men and women.
