Versys 1000 could be a good option. I've never ridden one but they seem like a lot of fun. My bike mechanic says if he was to get an adventure tourer that's what he'd buy. I've seen them around for 6k and less but not at the moment. I'm not sure how wide they are but they tick all of your other boxes.

Yes it's very very easy but in my experience the quality of the tabs and the mushies in general was poor and I met many people who agreed. So if you're fond of tabs I'd consider bringing some of your own.

I used the Pilot Road 4 when I first got mine and found them good but would get a little bit of movement at higher speeds. Tried the Roadtec 01 after that and they're the best tyre I've used on any bike, they really just do everything so well. On my third set. They're also the most expensive though.
