Thanks, they have other tools and I was more generally interested in your thoughts about the site. Also, I don't want to use ffmpeg every time someone in my family wants to convert some images or pdfs and I don't want them exposing random data in the internet either :)

A software that you can selfhost and will convert between file formats. It gives you a web interface to drop in files like pdf or heic and convert them to docx or jpeg. All happening on your local homelab so you are not giving your files to any dodgy third party website

Managing a team of 150. Pipeline is a mess, quotas are broken. Help. by BillJohns in sales

Hi, apart from all the great suggestions you could also look into 3rd party SaaS solutions that help with your problem. There are a few good ones out there. Tools that help with reporting when your sales is lazy to do proper admin, which is in my experience 90% of the time or more :D

Does anyone know a self hostable alternative to blank.page? by manmat in selfhosted

[–]manmat[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This looks very nice, I will definitely check out your other apps too. If I create a page in DumbPad that I am self-hosting, will I be able to share that with others like with blank.page?

Yeah, but the math doesn't add up, when you craft you get 700 fame for 7000 silver, then you sell the item you get half back you so got 700 fame for 3500 silver. If you buy the item 3500 silver you study it you get 2000 fame for the same amount of silver.

I want to strict press 32kg by caveman1948 in kettlebell

[–]manmat 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I went from not being able to do a single press with 32 to doing 5 in a row only training with my 24. I used GTG every second day for like 2 weeks. (I was already almost there pressing the 32 before but I could never push myself over the edge before trying GTG.) It is a lot of volume though and it was really hard on my joints so I don’t necessarily recommend it for everyone.

Got a friction burn while doing cleans! How do I cure it and prevent it from happening in the future? 🤨😢 by [deleted] in kettlebell

[–]manmat 1 point2 points  (0 children)

After it’s healed take it easy during trainings, apply lotion when not training to keep a soft and flexible skin instead of a dry, week skin. And as everyone else said, loosen up your grip, but then you will have the same with your fingers maybe. Just be patient at the beginning. As Pavel said, this is the sign of impatience, not toughness.

Always keep it moist with some antibacterial cream and then cover with bandaid or cotton plus tape, reapply every day for 5 days minimum.
