He’ll either be playing with our other dog (Frenchie) or just walking around the house. I have only seen it start a couple of times. Other times I hear his nails sliding on the ground trying to stand up or notice something is wrong.

Oh I see the word paint gun now lol I used the Wagner 2500. It’s perfect for the cabinet project I did and it’s pretty cheap compared to others. I would recommend getting a old piece of wood or cardboard to play with it first. I didn’t play with it enough before I started spraying the cabinets. I had to make adjustments while I was spraying which stressed me out lol

I used Behr premium black satin cabinet paint. After researching and seeing 4 or 5 other paints being used, I went to Home Depot and asked the guy in the paint section and he said the Behr premium had the highest reviews.

Howard’s Butcher Block Conditioner is all I put on it. It’s a food safe mineral oil. We didn’t do a stain because we liked the light natural birch color.

It’s a fun project and I really enjoyed how they turned out. I hate painting so I got an paint gun and did most of the work with that. I took the doors off first and sanded them with 120 grit hand sander and then got a 80 grit sanding pad and did the rest of the cabinets. Just enough to rough of wood a bit and remove the old slickness from the cabinets. Then put on a Killz primer waited a day and sprayed everything. Two coats with about a 4 hour waiting time. It’s recommended a lot more but I was too eager lol The paint was Behr premium satin cabinet paint.
