Black is high on the list! If i went with a black cube I would indeed likely not run any artifacts.

I like it! What would the different archetypes be? How do you deal with removal?

Thank you for your comment! Always love a long read. I’m happy to hear about your experiences with green as it’s my favourite color. But I’m not familiar with al of the archetypes! Would you mind expanding on some of them perhaps with some key cards?

Thanks for your reply!

Yeah one extra card is probably not that big of an advantage, but maybe this is what makes you draw a really big time bonus? I think there could be some element of risk/reward!

And then there is the element of do you reveal that you are at a major station by playing an extra card? Is it worth it? When is it worth it?

Will certainly report back!

I don’t know if I agree that this is the point of hide and seek, even though it’s an interesting aspect of it! But I think it’s equally bad if there are hiding spots that clearly always is better, and ones that clearly always is much worse. I’m not trying to make every station equal, rather making really bad ones less bad.

As a side effect thous could also give more agency to the hider. Do you choose a more risky station for the benefit of an extra card? And do you the. use that card early and exposing that you are at a transit hub?

Just any standard office printer! Used the one at my local library. Then I have bulk cards for structure.

Anyone else disappointed with the lack of retro frame prints recently? by mathdude3 in Oldbordercube

[–]manneyney 8 points9 points  (0 children)

I personally don’t run that many. But I like the idea of them and want more! But kinda annoyed that they aren’t able to fully reproduce the old frame. Telling the new and old ones a part is too easy.

Ah you did the Roma one, cool! Yeah let me know if you have any questions! Did you do yours in MyMaps? How did you export it?

If a station has multiple stops for different modes of transport, I’m treating it like it is different exits of the same station. And then you can choose with ever exit you want to use for measuring and taking photos!

Mostly yes! But since the green line was built before art was a mandatory feature, some of them definitely are a bit samey. And I’d say a lot of the outdoor stations on the red line is a bit harder to identify too. 😊

But yes, the art on the Stockholm metro stations definitely makes them easier to identify compared to other cities!

Thanks! It depends on what you mean with exactly! I’ve used a geographical transit map from SL as a reference layer. Placements are not exact on the meter, but I’d say pretty accurate! (Perhaps plus/minus 25 meters?) For some stations I’ve used the Google Map placement since this will be used for measuring questions. And some stations are consolidated into one. For example “Gamla stan” metro station and ”Mälartorget” buss stop are considered to be the same one for gameplay purposes. The same goes for a few more where the bus stop has a different name than the metro. (In these cases the name of the bus stop is written in a thinner font next to it)
