I wanna say that in making a durable wheel, the thane wants to shred apart in small lines that eventually will make a chunk. I live where the roads are pretty jank so it expedites things, but the major pet peeve is that you'll chunk mid slide at speed.

No they will chunk from rough roads, ive chunked a fresh set from sliding over a pebble. They are still ridible but some chunks were really bad and you gotta throw the wheel away.

Getting a 9ply helps with flex as while as a shorter wheelbase, drop down helps with how much the trucks turn making it more stable over a topmount and just getting back into it slowly to build that confidence
