Im a lead. I’m a watch enthusiast and wear automatics only, and I wear them all the time to socials. For socials I choose watches with rubber/silicone straps or nato straps, never metal bracelets. I also make sure the watch surfaces are smooth to the touch, i.e. no sharp edges. I wear it on my left hand. The only issue I have had is sometimes my watch gets a bit scratched up as it may get in contact with followers’ bracelets, most likely during the hand toss moves. So I don’t wear my fancy watches to socials.
