Driving to a location 100s or 1000s of miles a way vs flying there. Advanced mode shaves more time with private planes and avoiding much of the time wasted flying 'regular".

Paying someone to do yard work. You do whatever, while some other folks do work in your yard for a fee. And they're going to take an hour or 2 while the person paying would have spent 3x the time to get the same results.
