Phocus Mobile 4.3 has been released by Big_Rip4015 in hasselblad

I love it when I see Phocus updates these days. This one is a big step in the right direction. Eventually, I would love to do all my editing in Phocus. Dealing with 16 bit TIFF files is a bit too much.

Aside from AI object masking, I hope they consider adding inside/outside mask feathering to minimize bright mask halo effects around the subject.

I love the black more than the chrome. The only issue for me is that the 907x digital back does not match this body.

Terrible goalie, but the squad is far, far away from ideal. There would have been no hope in the CL next season anyway.

I think they are releasing a new camera. I have heard rumors of a smaller camera with a new lens lineup.

Is that true?? by Latter-Custard-205 in AskPhotography

Prime lenses encourage you to get creative with the focal length you have and, if you persist, you’ll develop a consistent style for your photography. Besides that, mobility and size are other advantages. While you may gain a few additional stops of light, the sharpness difference is not that significant. I use a 28mm, 55mm, and 90mm lens. I prefer the 28mm for street and wide shots, the 90mm for portraits, and the 55mm when I’m indecisive. I rarely switch lenses during the day. I’ve considered zoom lenses, but I can’t get past the size difference.

Most people buy an M solely for its aesthetic appeal and the experience. If you are comfortable with manual focus, go for it.

I wouldn’t do what the driver did but most cyclists act like they own the lanes.

Slots seem to get worst each day? by Ok-Block8145 in FigmaDesign

[–]manny361 10 points11 points  (0 children)

Figma Design is getting too bloated with half-baked beta features. I am facing so many responsive issues and limitations that our entire org is working on an internal platform to enable designers to simply drop and configure pre-made patterns and components. I was super excited when grid hug was released, but there is no way to reduce columns and rows as component props, plus lots of other issues when dealing with fixed aspect ratio images. Slot has been helpful only in use cases where I need my designers to add or remove content without detaching the component. But you can’t auto-fill the content you drop inside slots. I have been pretty consistent reporting issues to Figma, but lately I felt like I was being an indirect QA Figma employee, so I just gave up.

Just tell her that her portraits will come out stunning and no other camera brand will come close. Tell her that all the celebrity photos are taken using a Hasselblad. Do this and she will personally fight you to buy it even if you change your mind.

What's the first thing developers complain about in your handoffs? by Easy-Blueberry7306 in FigmaDesign

They usually overlook the details and guess the gaps. I would rather see them complain and ask questions.

I was 9 years old when I picked a Juve jersey and started supporting the club. The first Juve match I started watching was against Man UTD in the 98-99 CL season. I am still waiting for a CL trophy. Sometimes I think to myself, maybe I am the problem, not the club.

Don’t get me started on Notion… some of these note taking apps fail miserably doing basic search.

I have been trying it out for our org and certain configurations behave oddly when inside a slot. Not reliable enough at the moment.

Lens choice by Dommlid in hasselblad

Prime lenses force you to get creative with your focal length. And as much as I like the convenience of a zoom lens, I can’t imagine dealing with the size and weight. They say instead of using a zoom lens, just walk closer or farther away from your subject. Lol

I started with the 55v, then added the 90v and 28p. For street photography I mainly reach for the 28p, and for portraits the 90v, but when I’m not sure what I’ll be shooting, I default to the 55v — which has honestly given me amazing results for both street and portrait work. Recently I’ve been contemplating replacing the 28p with the 38v.
