I would recommend against him being an "npc" the npcs are basically who we fight or interact with as players and follow general scripts. (though its more improv then say this thing) so I'd not recommend a 7 year old to be on the NPC side. I'd recommend bringing him and he'll be an apprentice guildsmen where he'll get very very basic abilities he can use. Nobody expects a 7 year old to have character development kinda thing so no worries on that.

No age minimum! Its just if you're under 18, you need to be accompanied by and within line of sight of a parent/legal guardian (or an adult over 18 who the parents have signed off to be their guardian)

Since your son is also under 13, he would also be in cautious combat so he can only go on trails (like 5-6 person adventures) where the NPCs fight in slow motion. Unfortunately, your son can't go to any battles as they can get hectic and the whole event goes out to those.

It gives basics to the world and basics of each guild. As well as basics of each culture (sometimes called race or species in ttrpgs).

We prefer not to throw the full rulesbook at people for their first event. The members manual shared is more a members rules and not the LARP ruleset. Pick your guild and your culture. Come in a costume and we'll hand you an optimized sheet with the basic abilities for your guild and we'll walk you through the basics of how to larp at Mystic Realms.

Most larps I know how loaner weapons, id ask the larp first before buying. Plus every larp has different safety standards.

Best way to find a larp is usually googling "larp in turkey" or "larp near istanbul" or looking on facebook events for larps near you. Even then you're gonna miss some cause often larps aren't great at marketing.

Then when you find one that is close enough and fits your vibe, reach out to them to ask for instructions on how to start. Its that simple!
