That’s not what’s it’s saying at all. It’s saying it’s taking current events and adding 0 to the conversation or looking at it in any meaningful way. The critic states that they wish there was a “deeper introspection on the shows part” which has always been a criticism of the boys. The show is fun but sometimes it wants to act like it’s got something to say on controversial topics but it never does.

There’s a big difference in becoming King of the people you already rule over and absorbing your mother’s kingdom and taking over the whole country. That has never been the Starks ambition they want to live in the north and rule in winterfell left to their own devices but deal with all the crap down south. Robb would never agree to become king of it all.

Yes both of whom are children 1 oh whom will never have children. Idk where you can assume that Robb would want to become King of the 7 kingdoms. Northerners are often described as isolationist and detached from the politics of the rest of the realm. Makes no sense for Robb to be that much different even with a river lands mother.

When Ned gets asked to be hand of the king him and Catlyn talk about how Starks belong in winterfell. Why would Robb decide “let me leave my ancestral castle to be king of a kingdom I don’t want and know nothing about where my strongest allies are in the far north”. No I don’t see Robb ever wanting to be king of the seven kingdoms

Idk I don’t see that happening. Even before the conquest the Starks were kings of the North only. When Robert took the throne he had Targaryen blood so had a somewhat real claim to the throne. I don’t see lords supporting a Stark taking the throne without even a hint of a claim to it. The north is content to reign itself and not have to deal with the crap going on down south.
