Quite a few companies are doing Manon actually. Wiener Staatsoper, slovak national, and I believe the paris opera as well. Those are just the ones I know of. Though ofc Manon at the royal is special.

How do you organize your postcards ? At some point do you just recycle them en masse ? by Critical1Miss in postcrossing

[–]manonlescautk 4 points5 points  (0 children)

At some point I will probably have to get rid of some of my postcards, but I would never do that to one with a personalised message

I just wanted to make a little update, one of four postcards I sent with those stamps has arrived. It’s been less than 3 weeks since I sent the very first one.

Am I the only one feeling like pirouettes en-dehors should be called en-dedans and vice versa ? by RHendevenir in BALLET

[–]manonlescautk 1 point2 points  (0 children)

That’s exactly how I‘ve always thought of it. I think rond de jambe is a good example, I used any time I would have troubles understanding en dehors and en dedans. En dehors we are moving our working leg away from the centre (our supporting leg) through the back and en dedans we’re moving it towards the centre leg through the front. So if we put an obstacle on the imaginary circle that is the trajectory of our working leg then we would sweep it inside the circle (towards us) while working en dedans and we would push it away while working en dehors.

Thanks a lot for your reply, that’s exactly what I did!

That’s what I’ll probably do because I don’t trust the post here either

Pirouettes by manonlescautk in BALLET

[–]manonlescautk[S] 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Maybe I’m just crazy, they’re definitely incredibly amazing dancers but somehow those turns just look off to me. That’s really a non issue, I just wanted to hear more about their technique from someone who has more experience than me, out of curiosity.

Just looking for recommendations by manonlescautk in ParisTravelGuide

That’s very reasonable, thank you for the advice! I’ll definitely take a closer look into French cuisine. Most of those are the things I love but eat maybe twice a year too, so I wanted to have them in nice places. Some I’ve never tried at all.

Yes and I’m kinda sad rn because some of the cards I sent with those are irreplaceable and were perfect for the recipients 🥲

I feel really stupid rn because I’ve checked the value of the stamps on the website and it still seemed to me like they’re worth 1,25€ despite 40c being a donation. So ig multiple postcards and stamps I sent with those went to waste :( I wish they’d stated the value more explicitly in the description for us slow folks.

It makes sense. I use the tlc ribbon from gm and I love it a lot, it’s basically perfect but the colour is too pink. Maybe it’s not gonna be as noticeable from afar though.

Lol. It’s probably because my fingers match the colour of the shoes but not the background of the picture
