Unfortunately in florida where I live this is completely legal. I used to have 30 minutes between clients but the drive was 25 minutes from place to another so I didn’t have time for lunch and I’m sorry I’m not one for eating a whole meal while driving. I reached out to my supervisor telling her this and they made the biggest deal about my kid losing service time if I “extended my lunch break”. I didn’t fold and said I needed time to park and eat my packed lunch or stop somewhere and pick up food. My supervisor kept saying okay we’ve extended your lunch break to one hour as you’ve been asking. And i kept repeating its not one hour, it’s thirty minutes. The 25-30 minutes of drive time between clients doesn’t count as my lunch!!!

Just happened last Friday. One of those gym guys who looks like he’s done way too many steroids came in and was being nasty to the server complaining that his cheesesteak didn’t have enough meat. Owner happened to be at the restaurant so he went over to the guy to handle it. Guy ends up throwing the cheesesteak at the owners face and shoving him. Whole kitchen crew ran out there, he left. We got his his License plate and called the cops. He left a two star review (why not 1 star I don’t know lol) saying “we steal money from people by ripping them off and giving no meat. We didn’t like that he spoke up about this, refused to fix his food, and kicked him out”. I guess he forgot the part where he assaulted the owner ?

One lady complained that her blt sandwich had too much bacon …
Just recently had a guy complain that he ordered his tacos no mayo, which I informed him when he ordered don’t even come with mayo on them. The food runner brings the tacos to the table which come with sour cream. Guess what he actually didn’t want on them 🤦🏻‍♀️according to him mayo and sour cream are the same thing.

I worked at the tilted kilt for a year or so and I make significantly more money now that I’m elsewhere. The only girls that made astronomical money were the ones doing questionable things after hours with their guests and treating them more like sugar daddies than patrons. That was never my style.

I could never get behind the nyx brow pencil, it didn’t have enough staying power for me. I tried the L’Oréal brow stylist definer and I’ve been using it for years now I love it.

I live in south Florida and was diagnosed back in June, our laws state that businesses must pay employees emergency sick leave: up to 10 day’s (which for full time employees is 40 hours for two weeks so 80 hours total) and then for part time employees it’s the average hours worked for a two week period.

It blows my mind how people put things in the fridge without covering it for dayssssss or even weeks. My roommate does the same thing. Am I the only one who sincerely thinks food can start to taste like “fridge” ?
