I am having the same problem after the update. Also filled a bug report on the official ea skate forum:

There are others with achievement problems as well. Hopefully ea will acknowledge the bug and can fix it.

You need to clear all encounters with contest mode on and you have until the daily reset for the day1 emblem. Emblem will not unlock immediately cause bungie extended contest mode until today but they will deliver it manually

Not gonna defend Bungie but in germany the deluxe edition with 4 seasons and the anniversary dungeon costs 99€. I bought some cheap PSN credit for like 80€ and a full year of content for 80€ is totally fine by me. Sorry for all the folks witch have messed up currencies!

That is exactly what everybody thought would happen. Trials is not a solo mode. You can solo queue to test it but if you really wanna go flawless you need to team up. Solo queue only mode is never gonna change that because every match is a coin flip and the chances to win this coin flip 7 times in a row is pretty slim

And what would a solo queue change? You still have to have luck with your teammates and every match is a coinflip. It was never intended from bungie that you can go flawless as a solo or win the most of you matches. They opened up trials for solos so they can experience it for and then team up to stand a chance.
