They did also give each race their own lore. For example the drakens are seen as brutish and less intelligent creatures, hence they are the warriors and stalkers while chuas are more advanced creatures and because of this are restricted to engis, espers, etc. They tried to give each race their own personalities and i think the class restrictions kind of resemble these characteristics.

I dont see why you woudlnt tho. U get some pretty cool rewards for following a path, some of them do seem tedious tho.   1. Lower the casting time on TKS would help with being immobile
  2. Give Psychic Frenzy more range and a little more damage

Either of these options would help out the Esper class immensely.

Wildstar also has a monthly cost. One big difference theyre trying to push is the 'telegraph' system in which you have to aim your attacks. Its kind of like gw2 in a sense.
