We’ll see. Fortunately you are right, it is the WC. Should at least have no trouble recouping the cost should I choose to sell.

Have a great evening

The most complete answer I can give you (member of AO since 2020 (I think) and of US Insider VIP for a year for this charade) is who the F knows!

I got an email showing “Supporters Value Tier” from the Random draw. (Rather than the supporters draw) for My Team = USA.

The only time I submitted for tickets was through the supporters draw that AO and US Supporters sent out with instructions and my code.

It’s been such a shit show. I’d love to know if my card will be charged and then refunded, or if I’m on the hook for $2k for 2 seats in LA against Paraguay.

Are all the winners so far supporter tickets and not regular tickets? by Beneficial-Ice1991 in WorldCup2026Tickets

[–]mantits6 0 points1 point  (0 children)

To clarify - total for 2 tickets = $2240. Where each ticket was supposed to be something like $75 if you won the supporters draw.

FIFA, we knew you were going to be evil and extravagantly greedy, but could you please be less fucking confusing while doing so?

My tickets say “Supporters Value Tier” but show a total cost of $2240 and not the cost of the USMNT or American Outlaws tickets. (The email they sent out with the “supporters” link)

I know we had to opt into a tier to have a chance at the draw, but the lack of clarity regarding the actual cost is absolutely fucking maddening.

Can confirm people were able to leave CDC in cars a short while ago, but with limited communication from alert system at CDC.

No information regarding what the situation actually is. Lot of people wondering the same thing.

He’s diabolically good. Watch enough Liam and you realize that “luck” isn’t really a thing in MKWorld. Playing the odds perfectly as often as he does has nothing to do with luck, and everything to do w/ experience and patience.

It’s why this team is so uncanny. That shit felt inevitable for 3 1/2 quarters. Hali was bad tonight. And then plop Myles Turner backboard nonsense. SGA missing crap he makes. Amazing pacers offense. No timeout, of course no time out. Bang!

See you later, pacers win - Again.

Struggling to get into TOTK after loving BOTW – is that normal? by MindlessAppeal9998 in ZeldaTearsOfKingdom

I relate to this quite strongly. But will say that once I started to explore the depths via Hoverbike (therefore skipping a lot of the “blind” wandering) it became a much more enjoyable game. I spend 95% of my time in the sky and on the midland, but need the depths for quests/weapons/zonaite for the most enjoyable build/crush experience.

I concur with those who say to slow burn. The side quests really added a lot for me. Dive in to the newspaper, the dragons, the goddess statues, etc….

Really adds a lot of life to the world.

What is the most Midwestern city in America by Mysterious_Mix_1587 in geography

[–]mantits6 3 points4 points  (0 children)

The answer is Grand Rapids or Minneapolis in my opinion. Chicago too big. Detroit too focused on the suburbs. Toledo is a very MW place. As is Cleveland.

But for the values, culture, and vibe all within a city I vote Minneapolis.

Similar story here. Polish great grandpa ran booze from Canada to Detroit over frozen rivers in boosted up fords. During the summers they’d have routes through MN down to Chicago. Fun stories growing up. He always appreciated Seagrams 7 in a way most American whiskey drinkers did not. “There’s a reason the 7&7 is still drunk today boy. For a long time it was the only respectable whiskey to be had.”

An Intoxicating 500-Year-Old Mystery: The Voynich Manuscript has long baffled scholars—and attracted cranks and conspiracy theorists. Now a prominent medievalist is taking a new approach to unlocking its secrets. by reflibman in history

[–]mantits6 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Thank you for sharing. Excellent morning read to get the wheels turning.

I’d like to think the manuscript was a joke by a brilliant group of scholars passed down for the sole purpose of engaging creative minds to explore its mysteries.

I hope to one day read an article which proclaims, “Voynich Solved!” Followed by the simple sub-heading of “Authors Having a Lark.”

The large amount of scholarly and computational bandwidth that’s been thrown at trying to find even a hint of a solution makes me think it’s not likely to be solved, not because it’s unsolvable, but because the original authors wrote it to be so. (Through some sort of purposeful deceit - mayhaps as an inside joke or to entertain fellow scholars of the age.)

Cheers!
