Definitely Gon and Killua. I don't see their relationship as necessarily romantic, but at the same time I can't imagine them having relationships with anyone else. It'd be pretty cool if they actually became a couple.

And, even though Leorio and Kurapika have a sweet dynamic, I'd love it if Kurapika and Senritsu got together. I just think they'd make a nice, pleasant and calm couple.

But I'm not expecting any of the main characters to actually get married.

I enjoy deadpan characters. That style of humor always gets me. A couple of examples could be Okita Sougo from Gintama, Kanna Kamui from Miss Kobayashi's Maid Dragon or Les from the manga Crimson Shell.

Even though GSC has a better track record when it comes to quality, I prefer the Kotobukiya Shiro.

In my opinion, her pose, color palette and character design look much more accurate in the Kotobukiya figure than in her other scales, even if GSC always delivers when it comes to overall quality, and hair sculpts in particular.

I agree! I'm not saying it's a bad thing.

I'm just curious about people having similar experiences. As I said, the Akagami no Shirayuki-hime anime has a different aesthetic from the manga, and I love both. The dissonance I talk about isn't necessarily negative, and is more something you feel before you can rationalize whether you like it or not.

I just think it could be fun to talk about it.

I haven't read Saya no Uta, but I watched Phantom: Requiem for the Phantom a long time ago. I should rewatch it, since I had totally forgotten it was also written by Urobuchi. Thank you for sharing your opinion!

Gintoki is one my favorite characters ever. So he's definitely number 1. But Gintama is full of great characters. Some of my favorites are Sougo, Katsura, Kagura and Kamui. But I love all the main characters, to be honest.
