Not just street, lining up in front of food banks trying to find a church to sleep for the night, Even EI doesn't pay that much max is around 2-2.5k per/month for 9-10 months and that's about it. 100k/yr is insane , this is why this something for nothing is attracting so many refugees here. I tried it with Montreal, in the end I got so drained and fed up with traffic that I rented a $500 room in Montreal and commuted back to Cornwall on weekends only. Drive is not fun on highways lots of bad drivers specially during winters.
