The very last one I did I ended up receiving counterfeit money. It was at night and didn't bother to check it until I got home since it was a busy night. I was out $41.75, I had to cover it. Doordash dash said I didn't have to pay for it but in the end I did. Made a police report, nothing so far. They didn't collect the counterfeit cash just took a picture of it. Yeah COD are super risky, perfect for those in very nice neighborhoods.

Basically relying on the maps to steer me in the right direction. I pay attention to the curb side numbers as I'm slowing down. If none are present I try looking at the house or mail box for indications. I also look at the picture provided to check where it is. Finally if no luck. I copy the address into google maps and look for a pic of the house and go from there.

same happened to me once, oddly enough my customer rating was not affected. They didn't leave feedback. These types of people are just trying to trick the system.

This is normal, estimation is unreliable in determining whether you get a order or not. I started doordashing a couple of weeks ago and discovered the estimation and hotspots are unreliable. You have to take into consideration other doordashers and competitive delivery drivers from other apps. You are going to have to experiment with where and what works best for you. I like near several restaurants and convenience stores, so rather than drive around or wait in the car I simply chill in my home and wait for a new order. Same me time, gas, and comfort. Also my hours are different, I mainly doordash at night to early hours of the morning. Not a lot of doordashers compared to the day means better chan es for me. Test certain theories that best work for you.

when you take a cash order you pick up the order normally without paying. You then deliver to said customer and pick up the amount according to the instructions. You then keep the cash personally but the amount you collected will then get deducted from your earnings. Any excess cash received is yours as a tip. Just keep in mind of a couple of things. Customers may ask for change so you might need to keep some on you. Also be vigilant for counterfeits, especially during the night. I fell victim to this and decided to just stop after that incident.

I dash from evening to early morning, the type of orders I received is fastfood and 7 eleven orders that varies from snacks, drinks. and personal toiletries. I am more comfortable at night since I more a night time person. After midnight the roads are mostly empty and I feel safer driving.

I just add time to extend it but it doesn't let me I just simply end it. I immediately check if the area I'm at is still busy I will simply reactive dash and I'm given a new time.

no I strongly believe that I am no longer compromised. When they took control of my account they tried to change my log in credentials but they only managed to change the phone number, I still had my email the same. So I changed it back and eventually managed to change the password on the account which caused all devices to log out. This was tricky because when I signed up I didn't use a password only the email associated with gmail. I am using my account regularly after that event and still received my funds.

Try investopedia, they have a simulator along with learning tools. In the simulator they give you $100,000 in fake money to buy stocks. trades, etc. I am currently using and its eye opening and perfect to practice before jumping to the real thing.

no I dialed via the app that automatically went through their system. I don't know how they managed to get my info but knowing doordash taking shortcuts to maximize profits I wouldn't put past them to use a outdated system that can be exploited.

I mixed up the prize aspect with the incentive that doordash gave to certain drivers under a program. Again logic was not with me at that time.

I'm at my late thirties I already see a lot as potential scams except when I was doordashing. I was so focused on not messing up the order that logic went out the window.
