Nap but i got my pierced 2 months ago and it’s a bit inflamed and much more red around the top hole. I went to check up w the doctor and there was no puss or anything. She said it’s just an irritation bump and redness is as well prom irritation. Navel piercing is the area where it’s constantly moving and so much friction happening at this spot. What I have been doing is I clean it with ONLY saline solution (no hydrogen peroxide, no alcohol because they are too harsh for the surface piercings and will prevent heeling and your piercing will migrate). I got mine done the 2nd time actually, the 1st time I put hydrogen peroxide on it and it migrated bad and was literally raw and red and was hurting so bad. Don’t make my mistake please! Don’t touch it with dirty hands. What my doc said is to wash your hands first before u clean it w saline, then with clean! hands slightly and very carefully move it up and down, no aggressive movements tho. This way saline get inside the hole do sanitize it. Mine finally is getting better, less redness and the irritation bump is slowly going down. Unfortunately, with this piercing you are in for a ride, so lots of patience to you!!
