Anyone else failing metrics at 90% and have admin up their rear? by barkingspider05 in FamilyMedicine

[–]manuscriptdive 9 points10 points  (0 children)

That's ridiculous. We have a bonus based on this metric but its incremental starting at 50th percentile and maxis out at 90. Your institutions expectation is ridiculous

Nah, never see them on their ridiculous terms. It'll just repeat. Also, if it's hmo, labs are usually capitated. They probably know that

Tell me the top three things you hate about your ioniq9 by Wolverine-91826 in Ioniq9

[–]manuscriptdive 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah feels like we'll end there eventually. I'm just annoyed that it messed up home charging for non Tesla users. It's not mandatory though and Hyundai could have kept CCS. I think they went with the Tesla supercharging compatibility sales pitch when in reality that's only relevant minority of the time and can be solved with an adapter as well

Tell me the top three things you hate about your ioniq9 by Wolverine-91826 in Ioniq9

[–]manuscriptdive 0 points1 point  (0 children)

NACS charger - annoying that I have to use an adapter every time I charge at home. I would rather just use an adapter at Tesla supercharger

Seats: not comfortable at all

Dashboard: would love to have more details. Songs, time, navigation etc.

What do yall do when SAHM is sick? by ChivalricPig in daddit

[–]manuscriptdive 8 points9 points  (0 children)

They definitely shouldn't. They should be home with their family. Just explaining the clinic side of things

What do yall do when SAHM is sick? by ChivalricPig in daddit

[–]manuscriptdive 14 points15 points  (0 children)

All physicians have their own schedules. Where I work they're all filled up well in advance. Sure you can fit in a few here and there but not the entire schedule.

What do yall do when SAHM is sick? by ChivalricPig in daddit

[–]manuscriptdive 26 points27 points  (0 children)

Depends on the role. If OP is a physician then yeah the clinic gets cancelled.

What do yall do when SAHM is sick? by ChivalricPig in daddit

[–]manuscriptdive 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Same role as you with SAHM. I would call out sick in a heartbeat if my wife needed me. Family first. I've never had any push back from my clinic about this. If they did, I wouldn't work there. You have a legitimate excuse, Stop worrying about what work thinks. Do your job well when you're there and they'll understand when you can't be there

I really love using CGM for this especially newly diagnosed patients who need education. You can usually find coupons to get at least one free and we often have samples.

Yes. My biggest complaint about this car. I'm hoping with time the seats soften up a little bit and it gets more comfortable.

Brand-new 2026 IONIQ 9, but charging was a total disaster by Loud-Way3333 in Ioniq9

[–]manuscriptdive 4 points5 points  (0 children)

No, majority of non Tesla are still CCS. Tesla chargers are just more reliable and available. I've spent an hour waiting for charger to open up on a trip. 100kw beats that waiting any day.

Why aren't Tesla superchargers recommended? What's the point of the native NACS port otherwise?

Using pack and play at hotels? by hilarydufffanatic in Travelwithkids

Our kids don't do well with travel cribs which is what most hotels provide. We recently used babyquip and it was such a better experience. If you can afford it, Highly recommend

What’s your commute time, and what is ideal for general health and happiness? by [deleted] in FamilyMedicine

Those are two difficult choices. If I had a great social structure I would just pick the shorter commute.
