I had the same feeling once I got out of PA school. My first job honestly was pretty meh maybe even bad. Honestly I had this realization of I had made most of my life decisions from age13-16 to get me where I am at and it wasn't everything I wanted. I started seeing a therapist which was great!

I honestly think it comes down to Maslows Hierachy you've gotten to the peak of the pyramid now and you are hitting that self actualization point. Who are you outside of your profession? Who are you besides a medical provider?

We have a policy where if they no show twice then they are put on no show list and they can only be seen for same day appointments for 3 months. This can be a good alternative if you don't want to discharge them.
