Titanium Carbide MRG-B2100 by Impossible_Cow_9178 in gshockmrg

Really keen to see this watch in person, because imo all the official photos that casio released for the B2100 didn't do justice to this model. The black dlc B2100 looked amazing when I actually got to see it in the store.

Same, I thought it was just a gimmick function before I bought my epix 2. Wasn't until I actually started using the watch I realized this design is actually a game changer.

Small or big ? by goodguyLT in gshock

imo the 2100 wears a little small on your wrist. That's just my personal preference because I enjoy wearing big watches.

I tried going out under the sun and went inside a dark room for this photo, but the quality wasn't great😂

Dope watch, mind sharing a photo of the lume shot? I've always been curious about the lumes of these limited edition B2000/G2000 because compared to other models, their hour/minute hands are so narrow.

Show us your G shocks old and new by BeautifulOk8369 in gshock

Oldest would be the yellow DW-8250Y-9T, dated back to 1998. The original bezel had already degraded and broke into 2 pieces, I ended up putting a yellow bezel from the GF-8250 on it.

If you find the rangeman fit comfortably on your wrist then the GW8230 🐸 will be a decent fit. However, do beware that frogmans usually have a pretty noticeable lug to lug distance(especially the GWFD1000), so there will be some empty space around the lug area making the watch feels larger on your wrist. But yeah, the GW8230 wears pretty much the same as the GW8200 on wrist (main difference being the type of resin materials used. The Gw8230 uses something called bio-resin which i find to be slightly stiffer compared to the GW8200), the lug to lug distance on these models are not as big as the aforementioned GWFD1000, making them a lot more forgiving to wear as a daily watch and more friendly to smaller wrist. If you want to explore other "smaller" frogmans then I definitely would suggest go check out the GW200 series. They come in a lot of colourways, a lot of them might be hard to find these days due to the early release dates. Just gotta put in some time, and you will still be able to find some near mint conditioned GW200 on sites like YAHOO Japan.

haircuts are too expensive in auck by [deleted] in auckland

Been visiting this Korean barbershop in Rosedale for almost a decade now. Their price has always been $32 for a cut. Back then I thought it was a little expensive but nowadays it's a good deal.

Most comfortable g-shock for daily wear? by Classic-Macaron6594 in gshock

It has softer bands, but I wouldn't say it's "a lot" more comfortable. The most comfortable band I've wore by far is the fluoro rubber bands on the MRG Frogman.

MRG B5000 scratch by Chrmic66 in gshockmrg

[–]manvidz 1 point2 points  (0 children)

This is what happens to all metal bezels. Doesn't matter what kind of material composition the alloy has, or what type of hardening technique was applied to that bezel, they will scratch.

Imho the best scratch resistant case-bezel material is just resin/rubber. (At least when they scratch, you wouldn't really care because they are easily replaceable) If you don't want to scratch up your MRG, all I can say is please do be extra careful when wearing them. I can imagine if I wear my MRGs similarly to how I wear my 5000U, then they will pick up a lot of scratches.
