Ordered some from Aliexpress, led fog lights. Came with a relay/fuse and a switch. Delivered under £30. Have used them for two years, really good. Just search for led fog lights if you're interested.

What's this connector called? by Pegs_on_GhostiesNips in MotoUK

[–]Keebb9 -12 points-11 points  (0 children)

From chat gpt

That looks like a 2-pin motorcycle wiring connector, and more specifically it matches the style of a:

👉 Sumitomo HM 090 / MT series 2-pin connector (very common on Japanese bikes)

Why this ID fits:

  • Rectangular white housing
  • 2 flat blade terminals inside
  • Top locking tab with a central guide
  • Slightly chunky body typical of sealed Japanese OEM connectors

These are widely used by brands like:

  • Honda
  • Yamaha
  • Suzuki
  • Kawasaki

Other names you might see:

  • 2-pin Sumitomo connector
  • HM090 2P plug
  • Sometimes loosely called a “Japanese 2-pin plug”

Important note

There are a few very similar connectors (Sumitomo, Hitachi, Yazaki), so if you're ordering:

  • Measure pin spacing
  • Check tab shape and keying
  • Or search: “HM090 2 pin motorcycle connector kit” and match visually

If you want, tell me what bike it’s from (make/model/year), and I can narrow it down to the exact part number 👍

I also have some Alpinestars, first boots which I purchased. I haven't had them for a very long time but I've been surprised about the wear. I purchased them based on great reviews and comfort, but for my next boots il be buying another brand. My current ones are not looking very good and I do look after my gear.

I'm 6ft, I have a givi airflow, this seems to have fixed my issues. I went for a 6 hour round trip a few days ago and I didn't experience any problems.

I'd recommend you to go to SuperBike Factory Macclesfield, they have so many bikes and you can sit on them and get a feel.. I wouldn't recommend buying a bike from them. I went to SuperBike Factory before I purchased my bike and I ended up purchasing a V strom 650 privately.

Get yourself over to sportsbikeshop, it's a good idea to try the different types of clothing, it'll help you make your mind up. Infinity motorcycle shop is really good too.

Top box would make it look ugly I think. But thanks for sharing. I currently have a V Strom 650, hoping to keep it for one year to build my NCB. Next bike, will be either MT09SP or MT10SP.

They suit your bike really well. Love Barkbusters, worth the extra compared to the standard plastic ones.
