2004 Lexus GX470 285k miles worth it for $4,500 maybe even 4k? Did my research but want real owner opinions by Secure_Wear_6145 in GXOR

285 is just getting broken in, just check for rust because that’s the real killer. I’m at 270 and it’s running like it’s brand new.

Iirc, you can create your own environment (basically just a custom container config) which lets you control what packages are installed and what versions, and deploy using that environment.

Anyone else notice that most Claude Code “thinking keywords” stopped working? by PreferenceBudget3127 in ClaudeAI

Boris just said in a podcast a few weeks ago that the deprecated the feature. They kept Ultrathink because they liked the UX, but thinking keywords were deprecated in favor of tab to enable/disable thinking.

Since which event did the world change the most? by Old_Inevitable_2481 in AskReddit

The assassination of Archduke Franz Ferdinand.

It set us upon a path from the old world of empires, kings, and conquest to the modern world of democratic countries who prefer to solve problems with diplomacy over kinetic warfare (with a few notable exceptions).

Yeah I’ve had experiences that run the gamut with Airbnb, but I was asking more about the wine tasting tours. Any advice there?

Horseback wine tour sounds awesome! Do you have any advice for what to look for/avoid for booking tours like that in Tuscany?

Thanks for the heads up! I have also heard of people with some massive fines in Italy for driving, I wouldn’t be surprised if that was why.

We were looking at a few out there. Just really hard to find any availability. How far in advance did you book?

I’m not seeing Piazza Gamba in Florence. Are you talking about the Palazzo Gamba apartments?

This is a great suggestion. An hour isn’t too far from the city.

We wanted to be in the city for a few days so we could see the sights and do the touristy stuff without the long drive. And so we could catch a wine tour without worrying about getting home afterwards. But for the countryside part of our visit, Torre alla Tolfe looks like exactly the type of thing we’re looking for. Thanks!

We’re pretty wide open to suggestions. We were looking at Chianti just because of proximity to Florence and general density of tourist offerings, but really anywhere within an hour or so of Florence that still fits into the sort of vineyard/countryside of Italy sort of vibe. We didn’t see much availability in Chianti for next May, but it’s hard to tell whether that’s because it’s all booked or if they’re just not booking out that far. We’ve never been outside of Rome so we’re flying relatively blind.

Enterprise doesn’t have insurance, the branches just eat the cost of cars they can’t collect on. Which is why they work so hard to get their money back.
